Trip programme:

Day 1: Tallinn
Arrival in Tallinn, the northernmost capital of the Baltic States. Pick up the rental car at the airport. Drive to the hotel. Afterwards, the time is at your free disposal.  Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing of Tallinn
This day is dedicated to Tallinn - one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe, added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1997. It consists of lots of historic buildings, narrow cobbled alleys, squares, green parks and fortifications around. There is so much to see and experience in this fabulous city. You will discover the most amazing viewpoints, dine in medieval taverns, wonder at beautiful old buildings and climb the castle walls and towers. In the afternoon we recommend you to visit the baroque palace Kadriorg with its beautiful park, the famous Singers' Meadow and the ruins of Birgit Monastery. Return to the city center. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Tallinn - Haapsalu - Saaremaa Island (about 260 km)
Today your way takes you to an extraordinary beauty of Estonia - Saaremaa and Muhu islands. Sleepy fishing villages, windmills, thatched houses and wildly romantic landscapes make the island an unforgettable experience for visitors. On the way we recommend a visit to the little town of Haapsalu. The direct location on the Baltic Sea, many colorful wooden houses, the medieval bishop's castle with the legend of the "White Lady" characterize this town. Ferry ride from Virtsu to Kuivastu. Drive to Kuressaare. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Saaremaa
Get to know the contrasting island of Saaremaa. Exciting sights include the famous Kaali meteorite crater field, Panga cliff, Järve beach, Angla windmill hill, Maas castle ruins, Sõrve lighthouse and military buildings, Mihkli farm museum and Kuressaare old town. The Kuressaare Castle is one of the best-preserved buildings of its kind in the Baltic States. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Saaremaa - Pärnu - Vöru (about 350 km)
You will now leave Kuressaare and drive to Pärnu, the famous seaside resort and summer capital of Estonia. In 2020, Pärnu was voted the most sustainable destination of the Baltic Sea countries. The medieval old town, the white sandy beaches and promenades, as well as the many parks, avenues and forest areas attract Estonians and guests alike. Enjoy a pleasant walk along the Baltic coast. The journey continues to Voru. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Setumaa
Today you will spend in Setumaa and get acquainted with this interesting ethnic region. The inhabitants of this area - the Setu, represents a separate ethnic group. They speak a special dialect, maintain their own customs, songs and dances and have their own culinary delights. The route starts in Luhamaa, ends in Võõpsu and passes several traditional villages: Meremäe, Obinitsa, Petseri, Saatse and Värska. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 7: Tartu - Peipus region - Narva 
An impressive journey awaits you on the Onion Route in the Peipsi region through the villages of the Old Believers, known as skilled fishermen and onion growers. You will pass a wide variety of landmarks, landscapes, cultural attractions such as the university town of Tartu, Alastkivi Castle, Kallaste village with reddish cliffs of Devonian sandstone and much more along your way.  The journey continues to the small town of Kuremäe, famous for the Russian Orthodox nunnery of Pühtitsa. Then drive to Narva, check-in into hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 8: Narva - Rakvere - Lahemaa
In the morning we recommend you to visit Narva Castle - the landmark of the Estonian border town. It rises above the river and together with Ivangorod Fortress forms a unique architectural ensemble. Continue your journey along the coastal road via Silamee – Toila – Saka to Rakvere.  Visit the old town and the ruins of Rakvere Castle. With new experiences, drive towards Lahemaa national park. For today's overnight stay we have chosen something very special for you. You will stay in the majestic former manor house Vihula, surrounded by beautiful nature. Let the day end in a cozy atmosphere.
Day 9: Lahemaa National Park
Spend today in Lahemaa National Park, which offers you an authentic insight into the natural and cultural landscapes of Estonia. Visit the legendary "captain's village" Käsmu with snow-white wooden houses and hike in the high bog of Viru Raba.  We also recommend you to discover the restored manor houses of Palmse and Sagadi, walking on the beach of Vösu, admiring the old fishermen's houses of Altja and the nature museum in Oandu. Overnight stay at Vihula Manor.
Day 10: Vihula - Tallinn (about 85 km)
Drive to the airport. Return of the rental car. With many unforgettable new experiences from the Baltic countries you will fly home.
