Day 2: Tallinn
Enjoy a walk through the romantic, medieval city, a historic Old Town of which is included into UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Town Hall Square, the winding romantic alleys, St. Nicholas Church, the city walls with cannon towers and Castle Hill are just a small list of what you will see in Tallinn. Other highlights of the city include the former St. Brigitte’s Monastery in Pirita, the baroque Kadriorg Palace with its beautiful garden, the KUMU Art Museum and the legendary Tallinn Song Festival Ground. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Enjoy a walk through the romantic, medieval city, a historic Old Town of which is included into UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way to Saaremaa Island, we recommend a stop in the little town of Haapsalu, knows as the Venice of the North. The direct location on the Baltic Sea, many colourful wooden houses, the medieval Episcopal’ s Castle surrounded by the legend of the “White Lady” characterise this town. Departure to Pärnu, the famous seaside resort and summer capital of Estonia. Here you have time for a walk through the old town, where you should see beautifully renovated Elisabeth Church, the town hall in classicist style, the remains of the town fortifications. Enjoy a pleasant walk along the Baltic Sea coast.
Continue your journey to Tartu. On the way, stop in the small town of Viljandi and visit the ruins of the castle of the German Knights of the Order. Arrival in Tartu. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Departure to Pärnu, the famous seaside resort and summer capital of Estonia. Here you have time for a walk through the old town, where you should see beautifully renovated Elisabeth Church, the town hall in classicist style, the remains of the town fortifications. The city has many attractions such as the 18th century Town Hall, the main building of the University of Tartu, the Cathedral Hill with the ruins of the Dome Church, St John’s Church with the unique terracotta sculptures from the Middle Ages, the Leaning House, the fountain with the sculpture “Kissing Students” and the Angel’s Bridge. Overnight stay in a hotel in Tartu.

Day 7: Tartu - Rakvere - Lahemaa National Park (approx. 280km)

On the way, you will see manors of the nobility, lighthouses, traditional markets and colourful houses along the so-called “Onion Trail”. Visit these villages of the Old Believers Kolkja, Kallaste, Mustvee and Raja, and immerse yourself in a very peculiar world.
The journey continues to the Rakvere, famous for the ruins of the medieval castle “Wesenberg”.
Continue to Lahemaa National Park, to Vihula. For today’s overnight stay we have chosen something very special for you. You will stay in the majestic former manor house of Vihula, surrounded by beautiful nature. Let the day end in a cosy atmosphere.

Today you will spend in Lahemaa National Park, the largest national park in Estonia, established to promote preservation and searching into North-Estonian landscapes, ecosystems and biodiversity. Made up of four peninsulas and numerous islets, jutting into the Gulf of Finland, the park covers an area of 72,500ha. We recommend you to visit restored manor houses Palmse and Sagadi, the Jägala waterfall, the legendary “captain’s village” Käsmu with snow-white wooden houses and huge boulders, followed by a hike to the Viru Raba high moor. With many new experiences you return to Vihula. Overnight stay.
