Trip programme:

Day 1: Arrival

Your round trip starts in the largest country of the Baltic States – Lithuania. An English-speaking guide will warmly welcome you at the airport of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and take you to your hotel. You check into your hotel and the tour guide introduces the plan for the upcoming days. Free time at your disposal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Vilnius.
Day 2: Vilnius – “Pearl of the Baroque”

Breakfast in the hotel restaurant. On your guided tour of Vilnius, you will learn many interesting facts about the history of the city. The Gate of Dawn, the Cathedral Square and Gediminas Hill, the impressive baroque St. Peter and Paul's Church or the Gothic jewel – St. Anna's Church, which the Emperor Napoleon wanted to carry to Paris on his palm, these are just some of the masterpieces worth seeing and visiting. The afternoon is at your own leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Vilnius.
Day 3: Vilnius - Trakai - Kaunas - Klaipeda (approx. 320km)

After breakfast, an excursion to Trakai awaits you, the so-called “city on the water” is a popular resort for nature lovers. During a guided tour, you will admire the Gothic castle from the 14th century, which lies picturesquely in the middle of the surrounding lake landscape, embedded in a beautiful natural ensemble. Next, a journey to Kaunas. Guided city tour with the most important and famous sights. Visit to Pazaislis Monastery, which is one of the most impressive architectural ensembles of the Lithuanian Baroque. Continue the journey to Klaipeda. Check-in at the hotel and time at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Klaipeda.
Day 4: Day trip to the Curonian Spit  (approx. 100km)

Guided exploration of one of the most peculiar places on the Baltic coast – the beautiful Curonian Spit, known for its untouched nature with huge shifting sand dunes and endless sandy beaches, quiet forests and small romantic fishermen’s villages. In the Juodkrante settlement, you will explore the old villas, the legendary amber bay and the cormorant colony. 
The largest town on the spit is Nida, a popular holiday resort.  You will visit the High Dune with viewing platform and astronomical sundial, the Protestant church with ethnographic cemetery and the famous Thomas Mann House. Return journey to Klaipeda.  Overnight stay at a hotel in Klaipeda.
Day 5: Klaipeda - Siauliai - Riga (approx. 310km)

After breakfast, we continue to Siauliai to the Hill of Crosses, which is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites of the Catholic world in Lithuania. A popular place of devotion and meeting with the spirit, life and faith. Afterwards, you will drive to Latvia and visit “the Latvian Versailles”. You will be guided through Rundale Castle, one of the most important monuments of Baroque and Rococo art in the Baltic States. In the late afternoon, you reach Riga, the capital of Latvia. Check-in at the hotel in Riga. The evening is at your leisure.
Day 6: Riga, the capital of Latvia

Today begins your acquaintance with the ancient Hanseatic city of Riga, its history and culture. With your local guide you will explore the Old Town, which is a World Heritage Site: the Town Hall Square, the Cathedral, the Great and Small Guilds, the Swedish Gate in the old fortress wall and most intriguing samples of Art Nouveau architecture are just a few of the highlights you will see. The rest of the spectacular day is at your own discretion. Overnight stay at a hotel in Riga.
Day 7: Riga - Gauja National Park - Tallinn

After breakfast, you will drive to the beautiful Gauja National Park, the name of which is associated with the longest river of the same name in Latvia. Fantastically beautiful landscape with many castles, spectacular views of the untouched nature, many hiking trails and much more to really relax and just enjoy the time. You will visit Turaida Castle and the legendary Gutman’s Cave. Then you cross the Estonian border and continue to Tallinn. Check-in at the hotel in Tallinn. Afterwards, you have free time at your disposal. Overnight stay.
 
Day 8: Tallinn, the Estonian capital

Let yourself be captivated by the charm of medieval Tallinn during a walking tour! With a little imagination and help from your local guide, you can feel yourself transported to the 13th century. The beautiful Old Town of Tallinn Bay, with its narrow cobblestone streets and well-preserved historic buildings, characterizes the city skyline and delights visitors. The afternoon is at your own leisure: enjoy your rest time in a cozy little café and sample delicious Estonian food in all its variations. Overnight stay at a hotel in Tallinn.
Day 9: Tallinn. Journey home

It is truly impressive what the Baltic states have achieved in such a short time after regaining independence. Historically linked, three small sibling countries are a tiny speck on the globe, but we believe that the Baltic States and their hospitable people have found a place in your hearts. Today you say goodbye to your tour guide and the Baltic countries. This is followed by the transfer to the airport and the return flight.
