Day 1: Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania
Your photo tour begins with a flight to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Your tour guide will warmly welcome you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in a comfortable coach. You check into your hotel and the tour guide introduces the plan for the upcoming days. Depending on the time of arrival – the first acquaintance with the cultural and historical city of Vilnius during a walk tour through beautiful alleys and courtyards.

Day 2: Vilnius - Trakai - Vilnius
Guided tour of Vilnius. The magnificent Gate of Dawn, the imposing Cathedral Square, the baroque Church of St. Peter and Paul, the ensemble of one of the oldest universities in Central Europe – these are just a few masterpieces worth seeing immortalizing with your cameras. In the afternoon, you will travel to Trakai, the so-called “city on the water”. The small town is famous for its Gothic defensive castle of the 14th century, which is picturesquely located in the middle of the surrounding lake landscape, embedded in a beautiful natural ensemble. A feast for the eyes of every photographer! Of course, the tasting of the homemade Karaims’ specialty “Kibinai” must not be missed. Return journey to Vilnius. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today’s journey takes you to Kaunas. Lithuania’s second largest city, which is known for its scenic old town with many buildings and many churches. The highlight of this day will be a visit to the baroque Pazaislis Monastery. Not only the picturesque location and the romantic monastery garden are impressive, but above all the magnificent interior design of the monastery church. A magical sight for the eyes and the soul! The journey continues to the seaside resort of Palanga. After check-in at the hotel, there is time for relaxation and evening walks on the beach.
Today’s journey takes you to Kaunas. Lithuania’s second largest city, which is known for its scenic old town with many buildings and many churches. Day 5: Palanga - Karosta - Kuldiga - Riga
An unusual and spectacular photo visit awaits you today when you travel to Karosta, a wonderful and paradoxical Latvian town on the Baltic coast. You will visit the magnificent ruins of the exploded northern fortress – one of Latvia’s most popular photo motifs. Staircases, archways, shelters and rubble are scattered in the Baltic Sea like a giant’s unloved toys.
The next step of the journey first takes you to the historical region of Courland, to the renovated manor house Maras Muiza. Here, a traditional Latvian dish awaits you and an introduction to the life of the Baltic aristocracy. After a lunch break, the journey continues to Kuldiga. This beautiful little town is known for the longest waterfall in the Baltic States and a whole series of ensembles worth seeing with buildings from different eras. After a lot of new experiences you continue to Riga. Check-in at the hotel and free time.

A diverse architecture with colourful merchants’ houses, the Hanseatic guilds, St. Peter’s Church and its tower, the Blackhead House on Town Hall Square and the unique Art Nouveau houses – it is only a small list of what you will catch on your cameras today. The afternoon is free for guests to make their own discoveries. Overnight stay in a hotel in Riga.

Your photo tour will first take you to Sigulda – a place that is popular not only because of its location in a charming region, but also because of the castles of the Teutonic Knights that are still standing today. You will visit the ruins of Turaida Castle, enjoy the enchanting landscape of the national park and explore the legendary Gutman’s Cave with heartbreaking love stories between Maija, the “Rose of Turaida”, and the German-born castle gardener.
The next destination of the day – the Rummu mine, an unusual and spectacular sight in Estonia. It is a closed prison in the former marble mining area, which today lies under crystal clear water and offers whimsical photo opportunities. It is an insider tip for every photographer!
