Day 1: Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania

Three Baltic countries with a unique history, diverse cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes will capture your hearts! Your round trip starts in the largest country of the Baltic States – Lithuania. Your English-speaking tour guide will warmly welcome you at the airport of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and drive to your hotel in a comfortable coach. You check into your hotel and the tour guide introduces the plan for the upcoming days. Overnight stay at the hotel in Vilnius.

Day 2: Vilnius - Trakai - Vilnius

Rested and full of excitement, your day begins in Vilnius, the founding of which is associated with the Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania and the legendary dream of a howling wolf. During the guided city tour, you will discover the most important sights and learn many interesting facts about the history of the city both past and present.  In the early afternoon, an impressive excursion to Trakai with a visit to the medieval castle and tasting of the Karaims’ dishes “Kibinai” awaits. Return journey to Vilnius. Rest and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Vilnius - Siauliai - Riga

After breakfast, you will go to Siauliai to the Hill of Crosses, which is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites of the Catholic world in Lithuania. A popular place of devotion and meeting with the spirit, life and faith. Afterwards, you will drive to Latvia and visit "the Latvian Versailles". You will be guided through Rundale Castle, one of the most important monuments of Baroque and Rococo art in the Baltic States. In the late afternoon, you arrive in the Latvian capital Riga. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel in Riga.

Day 4: Riga, the capital of Latvia

Your acquaintance with the ancient Hanseatic city of Riga, its history and culture begins today. You will explore the Old Town, which is a World Heritage Site: the House of Blackheads, the Cathedral, the Great and Small Guilds, the Swedish Gate in the old fortress wall are just some of the highlights you will visit. Then a short detour from the centre to see the Art Nouveau district “up close” and admire the impressive ensemble of magnificent Art Nouveau buildings. The rest of this spectacular day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Riga.

Day 5: Riga - Gauja National Park - Tallinn

After breakfast you will drive to the beautiful Gauja National Park – the largest and oldest of the national parks in Latvia, characterized by great biological diversity, variety of landforms, natural springs, sandstone outcrops, picturesque views and unique natural, cultural and historical monuments. You will visit the Turaida Castle complex and the Gutman’s Cave   – the largest cave in the Baltics. Afterwards, you will cross the Estonian border and continue to Tallinn. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel in Tallinn.

Day 6: Tallinn, the capital of Estonia

Let yourself be enchanted by the medieval charm of the former city of Reval during a city tour! The magnificent town hall square, the cathedral, the well-preserved city walls and towers, the guild houses from the Hanseatic era, St. Nicholas and Holy Spirit Church, the cathedral hill with the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and much more – please keep your eyes wide open so you don’t miss the hidden and secret beauties of the city. The afternoon is at your leisure: wander through the narrow picturesque streets, enjoy your rest time in a cosy little café and taste the delicious Estonian food in all its variations. Overnight stay at a hotel in Tallinn.

Day 7: Farewell to the Baltic countries. Journey home

It is truly impressive what the Baltic States have achieved in such a short time after regaining independence. Historically linked three small sibling countries are a tiny speck on the globe, but we believe that the Baltic States and their hospitable people have found a place in your hearts. Today you will say goodbye to your tour guide and the Baltic countries, followed by the transfer to the airport and the return flight home.
